Website transparency
Website data handling notice
This notice describes the data flows implemented by the catalogue, RFQ list and enquiry forms. It is a technical transparency notice and should be reviewed with the organisation’s applicable legal and retention requirements before enquiry delivery is enabled.
Effective
Information an enquiry may include
An enquiry may contain your name, work email, telephone or WhatsApp number, company, country, buyer type, target market, product references, quantities, specifications, branding, packaging, document questions, message and a link you choose to provide. It may also include the page, referrer and campaign parameters connected to the submitted enquiry.
How the information is used
The submitted information is used to review the requested product, documentation, OEM or commercial scope and to respond to the business enquiry. Submission does not create an order, quotation or confirmation of product status, availability, price, documents or timing.
Enquiry delivery
The website forwards a valid submission to the business enquiry system configured for the production environment. Delivery remains disabled unless that destination and the organisation’s privacy approval are both configured. The public website does not expose the destination address or its credentials.
Information stored in your browser
The RFQ list and range-planner selections are stored in local browser storage so they remain available as you move between pages. You can remove them by clearing the RFQ list, resetting a range planner or clearing this site’s browser data. First-touch campaign attribution is stored only when the browser has recorded analytics consent.
Sensitive information
Do not submit patient information, medical records, clinical images, payment-card data, passwords, government identifiers or confidential third-party information unless you are authorised to share it and the recipient has confirmed an appropriate route.
Access, correction and deletion questions
Contact info@jaysinstruments.com to ask how an enquiry is handled or to request access, correction or deletion. Include enough information to identify the enquiry, but do not resend sensitive information in the request. Applicable retention, disclosure and deletion duties depend on the approved business process and governing law.
